Simon and I played a little acoustic gig at the Camperdown Hotel which I recorded. It was a pretty casual affair so we played a couple of new one's.

2. Simple Pleasures
3. Self Destruct (cover of Epicure)

Hey Dave,

You new songs are great! The Farmer song is one of my favourites, and Hopelessly in Love has been stuck in my head for days. When are you going to record them?

Dave sings with Juan (Epicure)

By Dave Anderson on Jun 24, 2008

It was a pleasure having Juan from Epicure supporting my album launch. I was taken back when he asked me up to sing Self Destruct. I knew if I forgot the words...I might do just that.

Hope you like...

Check out Epicure's music here - and buy Goodbye Girl and Main St. They are great!

As a fellow musician who feels strongly about telstra ripping off muso's for corporate gains, I direct you to this particular clause within the wotnext.com.au terms & conditions policy:

You warrant (this is an important promise you must keep) and agree the following things:

* You agree that we can use your clips for WotNext purposes and you license us to use these clips in any way we require, including using them in any media (including TV and the internet) and licensing other people to use them on our behalf. You agree that you are only entitled to the payments described in this WotNext Member Agreement, and are not entitled to any other payment from WotNext. You waive any moral rights you have in the clips which means you agree that WotNext can use the clips without identifying you and can reproduce, modify, adapt or alter the clip in any way it sees fit, for example, for display and downloading on the web and WAPsites. If required by us, you agree to assign all intellectual property in the clip to us, in writing.

source: http://wotnext.com.au/terms.asp (near the bottom...duh, telstra don't want to make it too easy to find)

That last bit is an absolute clanger...basically this means (& it's legally binding!!) whatever songs you have uploaded to wotnext so far are now legally the copyright of Telstra NOT you!...

ouch...you make a good point. Thankfully I went on the safe side and didn't upload a proper recording of a song, just a live clip.

Cheers for pointing this out!
