I played 3 songs at a Bob Dylan tribute on Saturday night.  To be honest I don’t know Bob Dylan that well and tend to only know the songs via those that cover him.  Pearl Jam, as one of my favourite bands, covered Masters of War once so I picked that as one of my songs.   Anyway I recorded a quick version before heading out on Saturday night and added it to be my ‘Best of Live’ covers. 

I’ve just posted my favourite song, and probably my favourite recording, of Black by Pearl Jam.  I’ve now got Britney, Bernard, Jimi and Pearl Jam all up on my little download site, waiting for you to swing by and collect.

Such a good song. I played this for my sisters wedding not long after it came out.  It become pretty obvious, that this was going to be the wedding song for the next 10 years.  Truth is, I think it’s still kind of flying under th radar.  This is one of Bernard’s best songs.  I guess its the fish that John West rejects that make him the best.   This just makes Bernard Fanning a genius.
