Woke up this morning and read “Who The Bloody Hell Are They” which is a cool place to hear about new music.  Usually I listen to bits and pieces and rarely do I get that excited. Cam Mackellar on the other hand instantly hit a chord.

Anyway this morning they published a song by a local guy by the name of Cam McKellar and his song “Glebe Point Rd”.  I was obviously immediately drawn to the title, having lived metres from Glebe Point Rd for a few years.

Anyway cut to the chase because you probably aren’t interested in wanky comments about what I think it sounds like, just the fact that I think it sounds good and you should go listen to it to. For reference it’s kind of like The Frames I guess, folky acoustic roots with strings and other sweet sounding things.
